Supported Missions

At East Highland we have decided to put emphasis on missions, not only locally but globally. We have partnered with and support four missions that help in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Tim and Sherry Anderson (ICR)

The International Congress on Revival (ICR) was founded by Evangelist Manley Beasley. Dr. Bill Stafford later led ICR, impacting many lives. Pastor Tim Anderson became the leader after a divine call in 2002, and now he and Mrs. Sherry support pastors across several countries in their biblical journeys.

Bradley and Traci Rippey (MAF)

Bradley and Traci Rippey are excited to serve with MAF, bringing help, hope, and healing to isolated communities. As a pilot/mechanic, Bradley will be delivering people, supplies, and medical care to remote areas, sharing God’s love in practical ways. Traci, while homeschooling their sons, Carson and Riley Samson, hopes to partner with local ministries and orphanages to reach youth with the gospel.

Marty and Joy Hand (GOI)

Marty and Joy Hand have dedicated 2.5 years to serving in prison and recovery ministries in Costa Rica. Now based in Alabama, they continue their mission with Global Outreach International as Missionary Care Coordinators and Transition Coaches. In this role, they have the opportunity to mentor missionaries from around the globe, guiding them as they prepare, launch, and thrive in their missions. Their passion for service and commitment to helping others is inspiring.

Ken and Sonya Pounders (OMA)

Welcome to the world of Ken Pounders, a dedicated missionary evangelist with a heart for spreading the Gospel across the U.S., Eastern Europe, Asia, and Central America. Alongside his wife Sonya, he founded Priority Evangelism in 1998, focusing on world evangelism training new church planting. With over forty years of experience in missionary work and disciples, they also lead Outreach Ministries of Alabama, a residential training center helping young men overcome addiction. Ken and Sonya, married 39 years, are proud parents of five grown children and four grandchildren, and they share their insights through the Conquer Addiction podcast each week.
